    1. ‘Pretty’

Welsh cobs and ponies for sale

    Height: 11.2hh

    Gender: mare

    Age: nine

Selling points: “This Welsh section A mare is by Eppynt Silver Shades out of Windmill Havana. She has won and been placed in lead-rein classes and in-hand. She hacks on the lead-rein from another horse. She has been ridden off the lead-rein by a small adult. She has bred one foal and has been handled by children. She has a kind temperament and is only for sale as my daughter isn‘t that interested.”

    Height: 13.2hh

    Gender: mare

    Age: nine

Selling points: “This Welsh section B mare would make a super mother and daughter share. She lives in or out and has done most activities. She has super jumping potential. She currently has a colt foal at foot by a black Arabian stallion – they can be sold together if required or just the mare.  She has no vices and is good with the farrier.”

    3. ‘Stunning’

Welsh cobs and ponies for sale

    Height: 15.1hh

    Gender: gelding

    Age: four

Selling points: “I’ve owned Chester, who is a Welsh section C, since he was five months old, so this is a heartbreaking sale, but unfortunately business commitments are leaving me with little time to carry on what we’ve been doing. He was broken in last year and then turned away for the winter. I brought him back into work myself in March this year and have had professional lessons twice weekly to build up his schooling knowledge. He is a real gentleman and amazing to ride. We have schooled in all three paces, hacked and popped over a few little jumps. He is still green so needs a confident rider – no novices as he is a typical Welshy. He can do little rears if he gets a fright, but they are easy to sit to and will go with age. He will be an amazing all-rounder for a young adult or teenager.”

    5. ‘Gorgeous’

Welsh cobs and ponies for sale

    Height: 14.1hh

    Gender: gelding

    Age: 11

Selling points: “This is a heartbreaking decision, but Walena The Piper is sadly looking for his new home. He is a gorgeous Welsh D and he has been in the same home for 11 years. He is much-loved but wasted at present and deserves to be ridden. He has been successfully shown, pops neatly over rustic fences and showjumps and does a lovely test. He has a snaffle mouth and excellent brakes in a big field. His only issue is he’s nervous on the floor and being mounted, and for this reason, he must go to a confident, loving home and this is reflected in his price.”
