“Stable Star” winner enjoys luxury spa break

  • Robinson Animal Healthcare has announced that Anne Blyton has won its prize for Britain’s most deserving “horsey helper”.

Anne, who was nominated by her daughter Becky, won a luxury 2-day spa break and a selection of equine first aid products.

Becky works in a hospital operating theatre and relies on her mother to help to look after her two horses, George and Autumn.

“I nominated my mum for the Stable Star award as she helps me, and other people on the yard, an unbelievable amount” said Becky.  “I appreciate her help so much and she really deserves some pampering!

“Without her I wouldn’t be able to manage my horses on my own and she is the best person to have around for training and competitions.”

Robert Ibbotson of Robinson Animal Healthcare said: “There are so many ‘stable stars’ that make horse ownership possible for other people.

“We wanted to reward a special person for all of their hard work and Anne shone out — she works full time and still finds time to help look after George and Autumn.”

The runners up in the competition, Rochelle Wilson and Avril McLeod, both received equine first aid kits.
